Due to the retirement of a long-term staff member, an opportunity exists for an experienced qualified Accountant to commence a full time position with our firm. The successful candidate would work in both our Ipswich and Boonah Office.

We are looking for someone who is organised, has a strong attention to detail and has a positive attitude. You must possess a good work ethic and can work independently or as part of a team. Ideally, we are looking for an Accountant that is CPA/CA qualified and has a minimum of 5 years' experience in public practice. 

The following skills would be required:

• Preparation of a variety of tax returns, activity statements and financials for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies
• Liaising with the ATO on client matters
• Strong communication skills to liaise with clients - face to face and written
• Experience in Accounting software (MYOB, Xero)

An annual salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
