NEIL MORRIS – PARTNER

CA, Bachelor of Business (Accounting) QUT, Graduate Diploma Advanced Accounting QUT


Neil is a Chartered Accountant with more than 30 years' experience in providing accounting, auditing and taxation advice. After growing up in Ipswich, Neil started with Ramsey's in 1988 having previously worked for KPMG in Brisbane.


Neil is a Registered Tax Agent, Registered Company Auditor and a SMSF Auditor.


Neil enjoys watching a variety of sports, musical theatre and movies, as well as hanging out with his family.

ANDREW RISSON – PARTNER

CPA, Bachelor of Commerce UQ


Andrew has more than 27 years' experience in providing accounting, taxation and financial advice. Andrew started at Ramsey's in 1993.


Andrew is an Authorised Representative of Count Financial Limited AFSL 227232 and is a Registered Tax Agent.


Andrew's interests include fishing, camping and running around watching his three kids play sport.

PETA HARLAND – PARTNER

CPA, Bachelor of Business UQ, Master of Professional Accounting Griffith University


Peta is a CPA with over 20 years' experience in providing accounting and taxation advice. Peta joined RW Ramsey in 2006.


Peta is a Registered Tax Agent and provides tax and business advice to sole traders, partnerships, trusts, companies and self-managed super funds.


Outside of work, Peta enjoys spending time with family and travelling.

BRAD TAYLOR – PARTNER

CA, Bachelor of Commerce/Law, Griffith University


Brad is a Chartered Accountant with more than 10 years' experience in providing accounting and taxation advice. He started with RW Ramsey in July 2018.


Brad holds a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce degree from Griffith University. He is a Registered Tax Agent and is also a Xero Certified Advisor.


Brad's interests and hobbies include bushwalking, reading and spending time with his family and two Great Danes, Nancy Drew and Oliver.

BRIAN RAMSEY – ACCOUNTANT

FCA, Bachelor of Commerce UQ


Brian is a Chartered Accountant with more than 40 years' experience in providing accounting, auditing and taxation advice.  Brian joined Ramsey's in 1980.


After retiring as a Partner of the firm in 2017 he has been providing consulting services.


Brian's interests include four wheel driving, fishing, kayaking and bushwalking.

DOUG MCAULLY – RETIRED


Doug joined RW Ramsey in 1989. 


After 32 years Doug officially retired from RW Ramsey on 29 October 2021. We wish him all the best in retirement.

ROD LYE – ACCOUNTANT

Commissioner for Declarations


Rod started at Ramsey's in March 2001 and has over 30 years' experience assisting clients with their taxation needs. Rod works with Sole Traders, Trusts, Partnerships and Companies providing advice and services.


In Rod's spare time, he enjoys family gatherings, music, the beach, bushwalking and exploring and pursuing small handyman projects. ď»ż

KELIE WIGG – ACCOUNTANT

FCA ANZ, FTI, Bachelor of Business (Accounting) QUT


Kelie is a Chartered Accountant with more than 30 years' experience in providing accounting, taxation advice and business services. Kelie commenced at RW Ramsey in 2000 and after a short break in 2005, Kelie returned to the firm in 2007.


Kelie is a Registered Tax Agent and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and NZ and also a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia.


After retiring as a Partner of the firm in June 2023, Kelie now provides consulting services on a part-time basis.


In her spare time Kelie enjoys trail running and mountain bike riding.

ADAM AULT – ACCOUNTANT

CPA, Bachelor of Business QUT


Adam commenced with RW Ramsey in August 2014 and brings with him over 15 years' experience in the Business Services industry.  After completing his Bachelor of Business degree (majoring in Accountancy) in 2004, he went on to obtain his CPA status in 2010.


Adam works with a range of individual tax clients and small business clients for various entities including sole trader, partnerships, trusts, companies and SMSFs. He assists clients with a range of services including preparation of tax returns, BAS, financial statements and other business advisory matters.


Adam is married with two young children and is an avid golfer in his spare time.

THUSITHA IRASINGHE – AUDITOR

CA


TI completed her accounting studies at the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Sri Lanka. After moving to New Zealand, TI attended The University of Auckland to complete the academic studies required to enter the CA Program offered by The New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. TI became a Chartered Accountant in 2008. 


TI joined Ramsey's in 2010 and has over 15 years' experience in providing audit services to small companies to not-for-profit organisations, SMSF's and real estate and solicitors trust accounts. 


When not at work, TI enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and travelling.

ALYCE FRANKLIN – CLIENT SERVICES OFFICER

Diploma of Accounting


Alyce started with RW Ramsey in November 2011 as a Personal Assistant. Alyce was in this role and other varying Tax and SMSF administration and internal IT roles for six years.


In November 2017, Alyce moved into the role of Client Services Officer for the financial planning area of the business. Alyce looks after the administration needs of our financial adviser Andrew Risson.


In Alyce's free time away from work, she enjoys spending time with family, baking, reading and relaxing at the beach.

JANELLE MCINNES – OFFICE MANAGER


Janelle started at Ramsey's in January 1981 and worked for both affiliated businesses of RW Ramsey & Company and First Provincial Building Society. During this time, Janelle took on various roles as Cashier, Data Processing Officer and Administrative Assistant.


Janelle was also an integral part of our Bookkeeping team for many years. In August 2017 Janelle took on the role as Office Manager which involves administrative duties, looking after staff and liaising with clients.


Janelle enjoys spending time with family and friends, movies, gardening, travel and fishing.

MARISSA KILGOUR – PERSONAL ASSISTANT

Commissioner for Declarations


Marissa started with Ramsey's in January 2013 as an Office Junior before moving into the role of Personal Assistant in March 2014 covering various roles including Financial Planning Assistant, administration duties including SMSF and Audit administration.


Marissa attends to all the administration needs on behalf of Neil Morris, Andrew Risson, Adam Ault and Thusitha Irasinghe.


In her free time, Marissa enjoys travelling, hiking and spending weekends at the beach.

DANNIELLE RYAN – PERSONAL ASSISTANT


Dannielle joined RW Ramsey in May 2014 as an Office Junior. Dannielle was in this role for just over a year before moving into the role of Personal Assistant in June 2015.


In Dannielle's role as Personal Assistant, she attends to all the administration needs on behalf of Kelie Wigg, Peta Harland and Bradley Taylor. Dannielle's duties also include looking after internal IT for the company.


Outside of work, Dannielle spends time catching up with friends and family, water-skiing or horse riding. She also loves spending time with her dachshund puppies, Chester and Willow.

'ANGELIQUE BRYAN – PERSONAL ASSISTANT / CORPORATE SECRETARY


'Angelique started working at RW Ramsey as an Office Junior while she completed a traineeship in Business Administration. 'Angelique then became Personal Assistant to Brian Ramsey and Doug McAully. Angelique worked in this position for 4 years before leaving on maternity leave.


After returning from maternity leave in March 2017, 'Angelique's role was combined as Personal Assistant and looking after Corporate Secretarial tasks for our company clients.


'Angelique's hobbies outside of work include gardening and keeping fit by going hiking & mountain bike riding.

ELISE FULLELOVE – RECEPTIONIST


Elise joined RW Ramsey in 1977 and worked for both affiliated businesses of RW Ramsey & Company and First Provincial Building Society and has carried out various roles and administrative duties during that period.


Elise's current role is Receptionist and she brings over 40 years' experience of professional, friendly customer service to all our clients and staff.


In her free time, Elise enjoys escaping to the coast, photography and spending time with family and friends.

SUE MULLER – PERSONAL ASSISTANT / RECEPTIONIST


Sue returned to work with the company in June 2012 and has had varying roles over the years including Personal Assistant, Administrative Assistant and Receptionist.


Sue works in both the Ipswich and Boonah offices and attends to the administrative needs of Rod Lye. Sue regularly covers receptionist duties for the company and brings a lot of experience to the role.


Outside of work, Sue enjoys her hobbies of photography, gardening and reading.

SUSIE RICHARDSON – ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / RECEPTIONIST


Susie works in our Boonah Office part-time as a Receptionist and Administrative Assistant. Susie has been a long-term employee of RW Ramsey, having started as the Office Junior in 1993.


Susie has experienced many different roles during her time at RW Ramsey including SMSF administration, internal IT, software support, varied secretarial and administration roles.


Away from work Susie loves spending time with her family. Susie is interested in home decorating and has quite an extensive teddy bear collection. If there is any spare time, Susie likes to watch home renovation shows and various sports.

STACY MCGRATH – BOOKKEEPER / ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Stacy started with RW Ramsey in September 2005 as a Personal Assistant. During Stacy's first 10 years with the company, she took on a number of different roles including administrative duties and internal IT.


After returning from maternity leave, twice, Stacy is currently working as a part-time Bookkeeper for the company and liaises with clients on a regular basis.


In Stacy's spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, going to the beach, reading books, running, being active outdoors and travelling overseas.

BARBARA GERNETZKY – BOOKKEEPER

Cert IV Accounting & Cert IV Bookkeeping


Barbara joined RW Ramsey in July 2018 as a part-time Bookkeeper specialising in MYOB but continues to upgrade her skills in many different computer software products.


Barbara also helps provide support to small business with their STP software issues and initial set up or ongoing training when needed. She is also an affiliated member of the "Institute of Certified Bookkeepers" (ICB) which keeps her up-to-date on any changes in the bookkeeping field.


In Barbara's free time, she enjoys relaxing with a good book or hiking off the beaten track.

SANET DE VILLIERS – BOOKKEEPER

Diploma of Accounting & Cert IV Bookkeeping


Sanet moved to Australia in 2009 with her family and is now based in the lovely Fassifern Valley. Sanet joined Ramsey's in September 2018 as a part-time Bookkeeper and has regular client contact and keeps up-to-date with the latest software on offer.


Sanet has helped assist many clients with training in Single Touch Payroll and other software packages. Sanet is an affiliated member of the "Institute of Certified Bookkeepers" (ICB).


Sanet's interests outside of the office include spending time with family and friends, gardening, travel, reading, camping and fishing.
